"I purchased my first Victory a few months ago now from Randy’s and was extremely please with the service I received. They did not have the exact one I wanted when I called but found exactly what I wanted within 24hrs. "Yesterday i picked up my bike after all the warranty issues were finished.
I met bakfixr and Phoenix there and had some lunch across the street to have a final check on stuff before the trip. after lunch we all said goodbye and they left.
I got my gear on and got on the bike, i went to adjust the lowers and found the right one was broken ! Right at the top near the hinge.
I went back in and told them about it. Randy took a new pack and replaced it right on the spot no charge. Now we do not know how it happened and i asked randy what i could do , and he said dont worry about it. Now thats service. Even though when Ralph test rode my bike in the morning and said it was ok then, and the chance was it actually happened outside when someone walked past or messed with the bike.
Randy stepped up and really took care of me.
Hats off to you Randy and the staff you have. You will always have my business.

"Fantastic people to deal with !
Ive had a few issues with my 08 Vision T.P. and the people at Randy's have stepped way up to accommodate.
The latest issue i had was with the transfer of my Extended warranty. For some reason it was transfered in my name but didn't complete (Not at Randy's) so when i took my bike in for warranty service it didn't go through. Ralph was the person i was dealing with at the time and i have to say that he went way above and beyond the call of duty to get this figured out for me. Over a 2 or three week ordeal he was on the phone with everyone trying to get a resolve. Well it finally got done and Ralph was the one that made it all happen. Thank you so much Randy's and particularly Ralph for getting me through this and making it happen!
Randy i think Ralph needs a raise !
Randy's is the only real dealer within 75 miles of me but i will tell you then even if i had a Victory dealer next door to me, i would make the trip to Huntley Ill. and Randy's anyway.

"I had been looking for a Victory trike for many months shopping all over Pennsylvania with no luck. I expanded my search on the internet looking for the best price at a dealer ship with a high rating from past customers. My search lead me to Randys Cycle. From my first call to making the final deal it was a pleasure working with Debbie and the rest of the staff. My wife and I drove over 1200 miles ,round trip,to pick up my trike and it was well worth it. Debbie even came in on her day off to meet us. Now that's customer service.I would reccomend Randys to anyone who is looking for a quality dealership with fair prices. Believe me ,if you have to travel out of your way you won't be dissapointed."

Where do I start with the positive things to say about Randy's Cycle? I suppose the easiest thing to do would be to do this as categorically as I can.
Location: 3 out of 5
Yeah, this is a little bit subjective, but if you're from the city of Chicago, it's a little bit of pain. I live in the loop, and it took me a good hour and change to get there. I think the odometer read right at 60 miles from door to door. If you're from the western burbs, no problem. And honestly, the area of Huntley isn't too bad. You can pick your own tomatoes and corn at a very cheap rate.
Facilities: 3 out of 5 (there's an explanation for this)
So IDOT bought out this stretch of IL 47 so they could expand the road. And it's warranted, because if you google maps the area, it's actually fairly crowded. The building that houses Randy's Cycle isn't the greatest, or the newest, nor does it have all the modern bells and whistles that you may have come to expect from places. Heck, I'm not sure if they even have air conditioning in there. There's a small break room in the back, and a demure restroom. The actual "showroom" isn't that big. I counted maybe 15 - 20 motorcycles inside on the main floor, and maybe another 30 - 40 outside. Is this small by some people's standards? Sure...but read the next section and you'll see why. The good news is that because of the IL 47 expansion, Randy's Cycle is moving, and hopefully by next month.
New Bike Selection: 5 out of 5.
I think that their website officially lists 60+ motorcycles in new customs and pre-owned. Maybe there are another 15 or 20 new vehicles floating around that aren't listed officially. Small? Sure, the numbers aren't there. But if there was ever an example of quality over quantity in selection as well as a truly diversified range of target end user demographics, Randy's Cycle is the epitome of this. Are you looking for somewhere that sells tons of Japanese motorcycles? SV's, GSX, CBR, Ninja's etc. etc.? NOT the place for you to go. There's dealerships like that out there. Randy's has a different niche. Are you looking for first time cruisers? Mmmm...getting closer, and it can be done, but still not in the right ballpark. Are you looking for a cheaper Korean brand (Hyosung/UM) because you can't afford anything else? They have those, remarkably enough. Are you looking for Vectrix electric scooters? Yep, they have those too. How bout Lehman Trikes? If you haven't seen them in conjunction with Victory, Honda, or Suzuki, they are a true sight to behold. But their raison d'etre, my friends - is their line of Victory motorcycles. They are absolutely beautiful in person, and I'm someone who just innately doesn't prefer cruisers or touring bikes.
Used Bike Selection: 3 out of 5.
Like I mentioned earlier, there's not going to be a whole lot of motorcycles to choose from. You have to understand that people who trade in bikes here to get new bikes are looking for something particular, and very narrow in scope. That means that the bikes they trade in are going to be narrower in scope too. Higher end cruisers (American and otherwise) seemed to make up the bulk of their used sales selection, but they also had a fair selection of standards and even a few sport bikes. Remarkably, a Buell 1125CR was there when I went this past weekend.
Pricing: 5 out of 5.
I ended up getting a 1986 Yamaha FZX 700 (Fazer), and KBB had it listed at 1675. With a Kerker 4 in 1, cosmetically beautiful, and mechanically almost flawless, Randy's had it for 1795. Not going to quibble over the 1 bill or so. Believe me, the bike's in beautiful shape and the only thing that's noticeably wrong is that the reserve/on fuel switch only works in reserve, but that's nothing to quibble over. My little Buell Blast was scuffed up because it was originally used in a MSF course. KBB for it was around 2000, and at first Rod(?) offered only 1000 for it because of its cosmetic woes. I told him honestly that I was expecting 1500, and within a few moments, that value was easily agreed upon.
Customer service: 5 out of 5.
Couldn't say enough good things about everyone who works at this dealership. From the phone conversations I've had before going in to actually going in and being greeted by everyone there to the sales manager I worked with (Rod?) to the young lady who did my paperwork (Heather?), everyone treated me with the utmost in courtesy and cordialness. Rod(?) was patient with all my questions, and he treated me as if I was buying their most expensive motorcycle. Even their mechanics, who I didn't have direct interaction with, were wonderful. One of them frankly and honestly advised against using preload to account for seat height and recommended lowering links instead. I think tons of others would do the work, make the money, and not even blink an eye.
Overall: 5 out of 5. Randy's is a gem in the Chicago area motorcycle world. Best of luck to them in the future."

"It took me a year of research to select the bike I thought would be best for me.
When I finally got my license a couple of weeks ago, I headed to Randy's to see the Kawasaki that was almost burning its image onto my computer screen.
I spent alot of time on Randy's website and read the testimonials. This is my first motorcycle and I want one that is reliable and that will be a pleasure to own from the day of the sale on.
My wife and I were welcomed by Debbie who answered all of our questions and anticipated some we didn't ask. As soon as I drove the 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan, I knew it was the bike for me!
Debbie and Heather did the paperwork. I didn't want to get used to a new bike in the rain so they made arrangements for Chris to deliver it for me. And, he delivered it when they said he would.
Randy approached me and made me feel appreciated as a customer.
This is a super dealership and I highly recommend it to others.

"I have been looking at Kingpins since back in 06. October of 08 found me at Randy's during their "moving" sale. I got what I believed to be a fair deal and made my purchase. Randy's staff is great, it is unusual in today's "business climate" to walk into an establishment and have almost any employee recognize a customer and address them by their name.
(I had looked at one other dealer back in 06 and spent 30 minutes in that showroom, no one even bothered to ask if they could help me, rather the whole satff sttod at the counter and told jokes to each other)

Sales are usually good pretty much anywhere but the mark of a great dealer is the after purchase service & support. I've had a couple of issues that Randy took care of personally and most recently I had an on-the-road issue that had me call Randy and within a couple of hours and a 25 mile trip Randy himself came to pick up my bike and had the minor issue taken care of within a week.
