Cams run to 6500 rpm with stock hydraulic lifters; recommend solids not be installed
Stock base circle sizes allow the use of stock pushrods
V2 and N2 are bolt-in cams for stock applications designed for up to 6000 rpm
N3 cam is bolt-in for 05-06 883/1200 engines with stock springs & heads (cams for 04-06 models with more than .465 lift may need different valves, springs and collars)
V4 and N4 are for stock or modified applications and have a slightly higher idle speed, but can be used with stock hydraulic lifters and springs; rpm range of 2500-6500
V6 and N6 designed for modified 1200s to 80 and/or high compression pistons: stock springs and hydraulic lifters recommended; rpm range 2500-6500
V8 and N8 designed for modified 883, 1100 and 1200 stroker models; stock springs and hydraulic lifters recommended; rpm range 2000-6000
N6 designed for modified 1200s to 80 and/or high compression pistons: stock springs and hydraulic lifters recommended; rpm range 2500-6500
N8 designed for modified 883, 1100 and 1200 stroker models; stock springs and hydraulic lifters recommended; rpm range 2000-6000
B50 designed for more valve lift and duration; stock hydraulics and springs; more power and torque 2000 to 6000 rpm
B70 designed for high lift in modified motors; works best with high compression; more torque and HP 2400 to 6500+ rpm
Y CAMS
Biggest available cam that does not require head work; however, some 82 engines may require spring spacing
Cam uses stock springs and provides great mid-range and upper-end power
Tach drive gear must be removed from #4 cam on 81-E84 models.
R5 CAMS
A complete set of intake and exhaust cams designed for modified 1000cc engines and mild strokers for the street or the strip
A big boost in torque over stock P cams through entire rpm range, up to 7500
Can use stock springs, but spacing is required
Cam lobe clearance must be checked on 77 and later models; tach drive gear must be removed from #4 cam on 81-E84 models.
PB+ EXHAUST CAMS
PB+ exhaust cams only (#s 1 and 4)
Use with stock P intake cams for bolt-in power with stock 1000cc engines; stock springs are okay and no head work is required
Come with tach gear pressed on; however, must remove tach gear from #4 cam on 81-E84 models.
